Interested in keeping bees? In this class you will learn the basics of beekeeping like biology of the honey bee, what equipment is needed and breakdown of costs for
getting started and how to manage bees through the year’s seasons.
OSU Extension Service, Lane Community College AgriBusiness and the Small Business Development Center in Eugene are teaming up to offer a 9-part class series designed for new farmers and
others interested in expanding their knowledge about agriculture opportunities on a small-scale.
The classes will be held at the LCC campus at 4000 East 30th Avenue, Building 17, Room 310 in Eugene, Oregon on the 2nd Wednesday of each month beginning in October. Participants may register for the entire series which costs $150 or an individual class for $35 each.
